This time Zandvoort was a weekend less full of satisfactions for the drivers trained by Formula Medicine, compared to their last performances, even if they were able to occupy four of the top nine positions in Race 1.
Unfortunately Charles Leclerc couldn’t defend the title of leader of the championship because of an accident caused by an excessive aggressiveness of some drivers. George Russell, Mikkel Jensen and Santino Ferrucci however did well, collecting once again precious points.
Nabil Jeffri deserves a special mentioning because he showed to have done important progresses, gaining his first points of the season after a brilliant qualifying that saw him starting sixth in Race 1.
After a suffered start of season, BMW has once again found the way to succeed in the DTM Championship.
On the circuit of Zandvoort the Bavarian Team, which has been relying on the staff of Formula Medicine since four seasons now, has monopolized the top seven positions in Race 1 and the top five in Race 2.
This is an unprecedented result in the history of DTM and promises well for the next race that will be soon held at Spielberg, in Austria.
